It is the time of year when kids go back to school, fall trends come about, and there is a downpour of denim. Levi Strauss & Co. has consistently delivered basics in denims with it's brands: Levi's, Dockers, and Levi Strauss Signature. This year, Levi is right on target again. Their wide selection of trouser jeans, skinny jeans, re-issues of 1970's and 1960's styles, and of course all of our favorites in original 501's and bootcut, are all fitting for the fall trends. They have even created an eco-friendly line using 100% organic cotton, and their handmade in the USA, Capital E line. Levi's always have a great fit and options for low-rise and mid-rise. They have a few pair that claim no gap in the back so you can be sure to be comfortable in these jeans.

My favorite look is the Skinny Jean with a graphic tee.

This Season's Top Trends - My Picks
Our first trend for the fall season this year is English School Girl. I have found three adorable and afordable outfits in stores that fit this trend perfectly. This argyle cardigan from abercrombie looks smashing with a bold yellow skirt from jcrew.
Next we have a hot argyle vest from oldnavy paired with a tweed pencil skirt from newport-news.
Our third and final English Schoolgirl outfit is a smart, preppy cardigan from Delias over a pleated silk skirt from forever21.
Our second trend of the season is Boho Chick. I was able to find some great pieces that will bring out the Boho in any chick. My first two pieces are a gorgeous embroidered tunic from urbanoutfitters and a pair of comfy jeans from hollisterco.
Our next Boho outfit is for the dressier bohemian. It consists of a long printed maxi dress from nordstrom and this great leather jacket from newport-news finished off with some super high boots from alloy.
The last boho chick top I found was this fresh print top from the buckle. It can be paired with a casual pair of jeans or a long skirt and boots for the perfect bohemian look.
The third trend this season is minimalism. The three pieces I found are both simple and chic. This grey boatneck dress is from LaRedoute, the rose sheath dress is from chadwicks and a great navy draped dress from calvin klein at macys.
The next trend this season is a fun one. Romantic Vampire is just as saucy as it sounds. I was able to find some great affordable pieces that were perfect for this season (not for halloween). The first outfit I put together starts with a great not so basic white shirt from Newport-News paired with a modern twist on the pearl necklace. I then added a victorian style jacket from chicstar and a pair of sleek skinny pants from express. To finish off the look I was able to find these lace ankle boots from ninewest that go perfectly with the mood of the outfit.
Newsboy caps like this green cabby from windsorstore or this red tweed hat from jcrew (a similar one can be found at the gap for much less) will make any outfit fun.
This juicy couture slouchy newsboy beret from neiman marcus puts a little diva in anyone and the Eugenia Kim satin cloche from neiman marcus is so unique, it screams chic.
No matter what your personal style is, this season has a hat for you to go with every outfit. Be bold and brave. Try on a hat!

Fall Fashion Trends 2008
English school girl:
This style is bringing out contemporary tweeds and plaids inspired by the 50's. Lean cuts with a slight slouchy appeal is totally flattering to most body types. The trick to keeping this classy look is to keep it crisp and clean. Look for punchy accessories to bolden up the look.
Boho Chick:
Look for chiffon tops of florals and paisleys paired with vintage denim. Long skirts or dresses with leather trenches and boots give heed to the 60's. Accessories to match: scarves, embroidery, wood and beads, and roughed up leather.
Minimalist:
Strong colors and futuristic cuts of basic designs make this pared down look very edgy-cool. Keep the colors blocky and simple. Think monochromatic superhero. No need for a lot of jewelry. Go for the less is more approach in accessories. Wear with platform ankle boots, or super strappy heels. Go for extra color with a vibrant purse.
Romantic Vampire:
This goth inspired style is sexy and sheik. Black lace, sheer flowy fabrics, romantic tops with blouson sleeves, long skirts, and layers. Cardigans and tights can be a nice addition. Accessorize lightly because of the amount you have going on with the rest of the outfit. Go for heirloom-type jewelry, dark beads or chains, a touch of metal or leather, and to top it off, sexy very-high heels.
My Boyfriend's clothes:
Mike & Chris Dallas Sleeveless Leather Vest
This is a marriage of preppy menswear and military style. I know right? Look for soft feminine tops with vests paired with trousers. Trenches and leather bombers over lean fit dresses and boots. Jeans and tees with cardigans and fedoras. This style is all about taking the toughness of menswear and combining it with softness.
Accessories of the Season:
Eugenia Kim Meg Mink Velour Felt Fedora
Hats and Headwear! You can choose feminine wide-brimmed felt and the cloche or you can go with fedoras and newsboy caps. Scarves and headbands are also big this season.
Jessica Simpson Women's Nichola Pump,Ice,6.5 M US
Shoes! Super strappy heels (the more the better), loafer pumps, ankle boots, tall boots, high heeled boots, riding boots, flat oxfords, metallic mary janes, there are so many choices you will need to designate a closet just for your shoes!
